If bad luck strikes within 90 days of your purchase, take advantage of your automatic cover – just call and put your misfortune behind you. (Please note than any stolen item will need to be reported to the police as well.)
The loss or damage must occur within 90 days of the date of purchase and no registration of the purchase is necessary. If you need to find out the value of an item for a claim, contact your card issuer. Protection is subject to an excess of US$50 (or the equivalent in local currency) for each item and occurrence.

  • Cover up to $5,000 per item, $7,500 per incident and $20,000 per year maximum
  • Boats, motorised vehicles, land or buildings, consumables, perishables or services are not covered

Your payout is also subject to any other applicable policies or indemnities you may have. If other guarantees are in place, protection is limited only to the amounts not protected and up to the original purchase price. In no event will this guarantee apply as contributing protection. This protection is in excess of all other valid and collectable clauses found in other guarantee or indemnity language.
